Frequently Asked Questions

What denomination is your Cowboy Church ?

Our Cowboy Church is an interdenominational fellowship. We do not believe that God sees our denomination but rather the heart of the one who is there to worship. We gladly welcome anyone to come and worship with us.

Do I have to be a cowboy to attend?

Absolutely not. We do have cowboys, cowgirls and horse folk, but, people from all backgrounds are welcome. If you enjoy the country, enjoy the western traditions or just want to hear a message that is easy to understand and whether you ride a computer keyboard or a buckin’ bronc, you will love Cowboy Church .

What happens at your Cowboy Church Services?

Our typical service begins with the attendees sharing prayer requests and answered prayers, followed by a prayer, then all the younger children move up to the front to participate in Pastor Keith’s monthly children’s sermon, music and prayer.  After that Miss Vicky takes the kids to another room for their Sunday school.  For the adults and older children, we have the occasional testimony or missionary visit, but usually a 30-40 minute interactive Bible study that is easy to understand and well related by Pastor Keith to our everyday lives.

Are there programs for children?

Yes, the children are always excited to come to church.  They learn valuable Bible lessons along with fun activities and games.

How should I dress for Cowboy Church ?

Wear what ever you like. We make ourselves at home with God and each other. We believe that it is what is in the heart that matters more than what is being worn.

Does your Cowboy Church pass an offering plate?

No. Some cowboy churches will pass a hat or a plate, however we believe that tithes and offerings are between you and the Lord. Usually there will be a table with offering envelopes you can seal and place in the offering boot for those who do want to give. We believe that God will always provide for anything that will be needed.  We accept cash and personal checks, and you may offer to the general fund or one or more specific functions or areas.

If I do give, where does my money go?

Offerings are used to fund church activities expenses, support our mission activities, fund our annual youth rodeo and other community outreach efforts as decided by the church members.
